The mobile phone market is getting a bit crowded with all the new phones released in the past few months and thing are looking as though it will only get better for those of us with a passion for new technology. What lies ahead is even better for tech junkies and it looks like Apple and Microsoft will do battle once again but in a new market. Apple has announced the pending release of their much anticipated iPhone. Music phones are all the rage it seems and the combining of two technologies will leave a mark on the industry. In the near future there may be no need for mp3 players because almost every major phone company is preparing to release a new mp3 phone.

the iPhone has been talked about and rumored in development for over two years now and the expectations are huge that the Apple iPod phone will be a huge success for the comapny that was nearly bankrupt just a few short yearts ago.The Apple iPhone sports a nifty touchscreen that has all the MAC fans going goofy for it. Microsoft seems eager to take on Apple and has let slip their plans for a new Zune music phone. There are currently no specifications on the Zune Phone but it seems Microsoft is serious about the Zune brand and fans are hopefull the Zune phone will be even better than the iPhone.

In the battle for leadership in the mp3 phone market the fight to watch seems to be the iPhone vs Zune phone and many feel Apple has already won by having a phone ready for release this year. The Zune phone is most likely a year or more away and no features have been released. Let’s hope both mobile phones are great and the competition is heated as this can only be good for consumers.
