Nokia has announced a special edition of the 7373 handset with design touches by fashion designer Giambattista Valli. You join those two and something svelte is going to come up -- and look, it has. The 7373 here comes in two serene and contemporary colors -- powder pink and black chrome. The powder pink version gets gussied up with the "grand architecture of the L'Amour Collection" and ...

This phone looks so boring, we can't actually look straight at it -- we kinda have to aim our eyes just right or left of it and take it in with our peripheral vision. Then again, gearheads don't appear to be the target demo sought out by Cellular Abroad with its new National Geographic-branded Talk Abroad candybar; the upshot here is keeping global roaming relatively cheap ...

Mmm boy, we certainly do like us some clear shots of unreleased phones from every conceivable angle. Especially when said phone is the LG VX8700, Verizon's heir apparent in the rare air of its high-end clamshell line. We've seen a peek of it before, though the displays weren't nearly as, well... "on" as they are here. ...

The world just became a little less of a cold, dead, meaningless (or at least data-less) wasteland for Sprint customers rocking ExpressCard slots (of either the /34 or /54 variety) thanks to the official release of Novatel's Merlin EX720 modem on Sprint's website. Riding atop Sprint's glorious EV-DO Rev. A airwaves, the EX720 should deliver up ...

Remember the joy that the AWS auctions brought us? The thrills, chills, intrigue, and ultimately the huge dollars that were raked in by the FCC? Well, grab your popcorn an' soda because the stage is being set for the same brouhaha in Canada. The Honorable Maxime Bernier - the Minister of Industry announced ...

As if there wasn't enough WM units out there with navigation ability, how about one called the "F@rmphone?" In a highly value-added version of Glofiish X500, we again have to giggle at symbols being used in the name of a handset which just confuses the pronunciation. Slicker-than-slick marketing there. Not. Anyway, the F@rmphone comes with ...

Here's one we didn't exactly see coming (at least not like this): Apple and Cisco have settled that "silly" lawsuit, with Apple agreeing to guarantee the exploration of "wide-ranging 'interoperability' between the companies' products in the areas of security, consumer and business communications" according to the WSJ. We don't know exactly what that means, but it doesn't sound fantastic for Jobs, who we're sure wanted to have exclusivity over the name ...

In case you haven't yet found a T-Mobile Sidekick 3 that is customized to your liking, the GSM carrier now is making a special edition (yes, another one) available now "with design by NBA star Dwayne Wade." While D-Wade's name is on this unit, we doubt he got into the cellphone design biz outside of the ...
